Make It Monday Challenge #7
If you frequent the PTI forum, I think you know who this card is for. Lee Anne has been in my thoughts since we heard the sad news, and I am praying for her and her son daily. I know from following her blog that Wishing You is one of her favorite stamp sets, so it was an easy choice for me when making her a sympathy card. I shaded the leaves and tulips a bit with copics, trying out this week's MIM challenge to use copics on non-neutral cardstock. Otherwise, it's a simple card for one of those very tough times.

Very cute card.
Love it Jill!
Love the colors and those tulips are gorgeous!
They are perfect for that patterned paper!
Gorgeous!
Jill, my first thought when I saw your card is that it looks awesome! I love the PP and the colors. And then I started reading and realized just how much meaning is behind this card too and who you made it for. You are so thoughtful and sweet not only to send Lee Anne a card, but also to use her favorite set!
What a great match to the patterned paper - - love how it's dark with a little light to really make those tulips POP!
Your card is beautiful, Jill. I haven't been on the forums lately - I've got to catch up everyone.
Beautiful tulips! I love the patterned paper you used with your focal point. The shading on you flowers is superb!
Thanks a beautiful card, Jill. I love the colors you chosen - the smokey shadow really works with the big, sweet blush flowers.
I've been looking for you out walking your dog as I'm sure I'll see you someday :) Once these babies are a little more settled, we'll have to figure out a way to get some SD forum friends together!
Pretty card. Love the tulips from the Wishing You set.
Stunning! Everything ties in together perfectly!
This is beautiful. I am sure Lee Anne will be touched.
